CCCompanions Szn2 | Metis
The beginning of the CCCompanions multichain journey
CCCompanions Szn2 is a free mint coming to Metis. The goal is to bring our reflection-based NFTFi project to the Metis Andromeda mainnet. The Royalties Share mechanism that backs the CCCompanions on AVAX with monthly claims of secondary market royalties will be brought to Metis with the CCCompanion artwork.
Our goal is to connect with the current protocols building on Metis. This wide array of projects includes Hummus Finance, Athena Finance, and Hermes. Supporting the budding culture of Metis and growing with them is a very exciting endeavor for CCCompanions.
The CCCompanion Szn2 free mint will consist of 1500 Crystal Clear Companions launching on Metis. Each CCC becomes backed with a share of 60% of secondary market royalties as they accrue. This is just the beginning of the CCCompanions journey on Metis.

Mint Structure — 2 phases, allowlist & public:
To qualify for the allowlist of CCCompanions Szn2, you must be a holder of CCCompanion on AVAX or receive a wl from a Metis ecosystem partner. The snapshot for AVAX CCCompanions will occur at 12 PM EST on June 29th, 2023. For wallets in the AVAX snapshot, there is a bonus you can earn for holding multiple NFTs. In the allowlist phase every 3 CCC = 4 WL. The more groups of 3 a user holds, the more WL spots they earn, up to 15 CCC (see chart below).
The Allowlist Phase is limited to 1000 NFTs eligible for minting. These will be the first group of addresses eligible to mint. Any address added to the allowlist through the Metis Ecosystem that is not a CCCompanion holder on AVAX will receive 1 wl mint per address.
The Public Phase of the mint will have no minimum of CCCs set aside for it, only what is not minted during the allowlist phase. The public mint will have a limit of 2 NFTs per address. The public mint will open 24 hours after Phase 1 of the allowlist on July 8th at 8 AM EST.
Metis Ecosystem Allowlist
The CCCompanions team has been reaching out to communities within the Metis ecosystem. Projects in the Metis Defi and NFT landscapes will receive inquiries from the CCCompanions team, offering their communities access to the free mint in limited amounts. The first team we will look to offer allowlist spots to is Athena Finance, given their similar history of moving from AVAX to Metis. We look forward to continuing to connect with many incredible teams on Metis.

Bridge Options
There are two main ways to bridge funds from Avalanche to Metis. Here, we will provide the two pathways our team personally uses to bridge back and forth.
- Synapse Protocol offers direct bridging between AVAX & METIS. (Use WETH.e or USDC. when bridging from AVAX). Synapse is an independent protocol to AVAX and Metis; all risks associated with using it should be known by the user. This bridge gives users gas if users meet the criteria, see the bridge website for details
- Using Main Bridges. Step 1, bridge WETH.e to Ethereum using bridge.avax.network. Step 2, bridge WETH to Metis using bridge.metis.io. This pathway is longer but only uses bridges built by Ava Labs and the Metis Foundation. The Metis Bridge gives users gas if users meet the criteria, see the bridge website for details.
Adding Metis to Metamask
When adding the Metis Andromeda RPC, simply enter the Metis Network settings as follows:
